Back in October I went for a little trip to France for a few days for a photography training course with one of the best in the industry Brett Harkness.
Over the years that I have been a photographer I have always enjoyed learning new techniques to keep my work up to date and fresh, so it has always been important to me to make time each year to attend some training courses, so I can offer new and improved techniques to my clients. Somebody who I have trained with several times over the last few years is Brett Harkness as I just love his work, style and enthusiasm.
I was so excited to travel over to Bordeaux airport and then onto where we were staying at the most amazing place south of Bordeaux in the Chateau De Lisse. I had the most amazing room with four poster bed, roll top bath with the most fabulous view and a loo in a turret! Not only all that but also the most amazing personal Chef to feed us throughout our stay!
We did work hard but we had great company and chat with Brett and his lovely wife Kristie and adorable daughter Mackenzie, assistant Paul and fellow photographers Anne-Marie, Sharon, Louise, Pandora, Tim and Rob and not forgetting Jo and James who did a fabulous job on the make up and hair of our lovely models.
Here is an iPhone photo of where we were staying:
