I was recently asked to photograph a Global Leadership Programme over two days in Manchester with CSC Leaders and Common Purpose. The group consisted of exceptional senior leaders selected from government, business and NGOs across the 53 countries of the Commonwealth; it was a really diverse and great group of people to spend time with.
The group was split into 4 smaller groups and over the two days they visited varying organisations around Manchester. There task was to “collaborate to tackle challenges that businesses, governments and society face today and build the cultural intelligence and global relationships needed for the leaders of tomorrow”.
It was such a great event to photograph and as I am from Manchester and worked in the City myself for many years, it was great to go back and see how much the City has changed. I have to say at the end of the two days I was left feeling proud to say that Manchester is a truly amazing City. I am looking forward to visiting again in the future.
Here are some images that I took over the two days which included a visit to Coronation Street, and I was also privileged to photograph HRH The Princess Royal who is the current President of The Duke Of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences. I have added a list at the bottom of this post of the organisations I visited and photographed:
Manchester City Council British Library
Urban Splash
The Monastery Manchester
British Muslim Heritage Centre
Etihad Stadium
National Cycling Centre
Southway Housing
