James and Sophia were married at St Mary’s Church in Saffron Walden, this is such a beautiful big church. Even though I wasn’t allowed to photograph the actual ceremony due to the rules of the church, I made sure that I photographed as much of that part of the day as I was allowed to. After all this was a big part of their wedding day story. The forecast had said rain but we were fortunate enough to miss any downpours but were graced with a windy day.
After stopping off along the way from the ceremony to the reception to take advantage of the car, we arrived at The Granary Barns. It was beautifully decorated with hearts and love signs, and a wedding cake made by Sophia’s mother made it extra special.
I just loved the bridesmaids red dresses and the colourful flowers, they really made an impact on the images.
