Sean and Fiona Wedding

Ely Cathedral Wedding Photography

Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Sean and Fiona’s beautiful wedding at Ely Cathedral followed by the reception at The Granary Estates.

Due to Fiona’s family heritage coming from Scotland the Scottish Pipers were in attendance.  It was a lovely site to see Fiona’s car being piped up to the entrance to Ely Cathedral the middle of the Town Centre.  There were lots of guests in attendance who had travelled from near and far, and many had travelled from Ireland where Sean’s family live.

After the lovely ceremony in the absolute stunning Ely Cathedral, we managed to get some confetti shots just in time before the heavens opened, and we were on our way to The Granary Estates for the reception.

At the reception the party got into full swing and again we managed to avoid the rain for the group shots in the courtyard area. The detail was gorgeous and in particular the beautiful flower bomb that was suspended from the ceiling, this was put together by the very talented Tolly at Tollys Flowers.

The barn was filled to the brim with guests and we had two sessions of speeches with a chance for some portrait shots of the newlyweds in between.

Then after the first dance the dance floor filled with guests who danced the night away.
